Pittsburgh’s Regionally Touring Bluesy Folk Band
This story begins in parts. Megan got her start with a 3-song deal with Mad Hands Records. This brought her newfound success, tour dates, and a #1 hit single on the Indie Nashville charts. Traveling from New York to Chicago, with tons of stops in between, Megan Pennington was on the search for a band that she could take on the road. She joined forces with blues artist, Tyler Feathers, who had had his share of fill in gigs around the Pittsburgh area. When the duo plays locally, they bring along Duane Audo, who toured with a punk band in the 80s.
Bringing you an electrifying set of acoustic blusey tunes, Moonshine Jasmine is on the move. Moonshine Jasmine is known for their Joplin-esque sound that incorporates Megan’s love of folk and Tyler’s love of blues. You’ll catch a John Lee Hooker track followed by a Johnny Cash song and you simply won’t be able to help but dance and sing along!
The band has finished recording their studio album and had the chance to drop it back in February 2022. You can find “I’m Not Sorry” on all streaming platforms.
Check out what the band’s up to and maybe catch a show. You won’t regret it!
